Magpie needed

Anyone got a magpie around Malvern area or Hereford, someone has let me previous birds out of Larsen trap.

I trap throughout the year and get good results, trap was in my garden so generally a safe place

Some say to late for trapping. But as long as the traps are still catching why stop ! Still catching all be it . not the numbers there was at the start with .

It's a morality thing. Trap in the spring and early summer to break up/eradicate pairs, then when the undergrowth is up, and any early hatches are safer you can put the traps away for another few months.

Year-round trapping is only going to give fuel to the fire of organisations that are already against us.
