Magpul Hunter Stock and Moderator question.

Hi all,

I hope I'm in the right area.......

I have a Ruger American Ranch in 300BLK and got hold of a Magpul Hunter stock for it which is a vast improvement over the factory unit. Unfortunately, the Wildcat Evo moderator I had on it won't fit the new stock. I have recently moved county and my new FEO is doing me a like for like variation for a new Mod. I like the handiness of the rifle, with its 16.5"barrel, and would like an over barrel mod to keep everything short but the shoulder of the thread is only 50mm from the forend of the stock.

Does anyone have any suggestions of which Mod to go for? I have a F&D in 6.5 (which is on the Ruger for photo purposes) but I have read some bad press about them. I would appreciate your input.

By how much? Is taking some material off the from of the stock an option?

That is an option, and a cheap option too! but I would sooner keep it original.

Just reread your post, don't rule out a PES/MAE muzzle can

Thanks for that, I'll look into them. I'm happy with F&D but reviews vary, is anyone happy to endorse their Freyr & Devik mods?
