The stock on my Stutzen is tightly fitted at the action. Forward at the muzzle end it takes very little pressure, like thumb and forefinger, to move the stock to touch the barrel.
The metal stock tip at the muzzle prevents the wood touching the barrel, but the metal does touch the barrel.
I think i am shooting it consistently, using a sling and bag under the action, and it’s fairly accurate in what I imagine Stutzen accuracy should be. I don’t think the stock/metal stock tip is touching the barrel when I shoot like this. But, it doesn’t seem right.
Thoughts please Stutzen owners?
