My rusan adapter arrived and thankfully the thermal clip on does fit without touching the barrel.

I've now had time to shoot some groups at 100m and 200m. I've created a monster! 
Positives:
-Negligible recoil, ok I'm running it slow at 2600fps but it's still a 180gr projectile and I can stay on or close to on target.
-Trigger is something else.
-Scope is just lovely huge eye box I regret my decision far less now.
-Very quiet.
Negatives:
-The stock, I'm changing this anyway but it is heavy and the fore end has some spring to it. It's a good price and its available quickly and it is well made this is why you'd go with an MDT oryx.
-I don't have the time to shoot it more...
Surprise:
-My ammo is way flatter than the BC app says it should be. 100m zero bc app says it should be 6clicks to be on at 200m... I found it to be only 4clicks. That is 4cm less drop than expected. Although that is good. I now need to do a custom drag profile on AB to be able to range and dial accurately and ultimately will not be confident till I've shot it at 300m and 400m.
- My thermal maintains is the same zero on both rifles! Another thumbs up for Rusan mounts.

It’s on my land but the range isn’t finished. Back stop will be doubled in size and a raised + sheltered hide for shooting at 300m.Nice set up there mate. I presume you either own the ground or have a very nice farmer who allows you to mow that strip
