Magtech primers

I have been priming some 22-250 cases in lapua brass (brand new) using Magtech large rifle primers using a Lee hand primer. I’ve found theyre tight as hell to get in, I have used cci and Remington in the past and they were ok. Has anybody else had this issue ?

I use thousands of them and never had issues with them. I use a bench primer and never had an issue with Lap Brass

Yes on 270 and 243, I replaced the lee primer with an RCBS universal hand primer which seems man enough for the job. I guess you wouldn't notice as much with a bench primer?

Haven't had that issue but out of around 500 reloads I've had about 5 misfires , 1 due to the anvil being absent, also found a couple more primers before loading with missing anvils.

Snap with OP! Few missing anvils and ended up priming on the press for the extra grunt required. Moved back to cci and no issues since.
