"Mark thread as sold" ?

Why all the obsession with deleting posts anyway. It wasn't done on the previous site. It also gives buyers and sellers a guide price which usually saves people putting their items on for unrealistic amounts with zero chance of selling them. How else will Mr White know what to charge after all?

Lots of ‘For Sale’ ads (Not just on SD) have the prices deleted once a sale has been agreed or deposit paid.

I'd like them to be left, closed, so I have a price reference when looking to sell (or buy).

Even if closed, the vendor could delete the price upon the sale, before closing thread.
