I already purchased a muzzle brake on here for my rifle and it will not tighten. It screws on though.

I've switched to Area 419 Hellfire self-timing brakes so an adapter is screwed to the muzzle and torqued down and then the brake is screwed onto the adapter, lined up and tightened by hand.

Thanks. A lot to consider. I was looking at purchasing shims for the muzzle brake I already have. May be that will make it easier to tighten.
