Measuring heads

Can someone be so kind as to tell me how roe heads are measured,I know how the skull is done on its own ,but how are the ones that are mounted head,neck and shoulders measured,w
 
Yeah they've got to be measured prior to mounting, While I find it incredibly dumb there scored by skull weight and It makes up almost 35-40% of there scoring, They also use water displacement In there scoring too also I believe.

You could post them here and we could probably give a general estimate, but you probably wont get much better than Silver or gold or non medal/bronze.
 
Suggest you look on the CIC web site and you will find all the information you require. The cleaned air dried head is weighed, measured, assessed and scored accordingly. Once measured the taxidermist then mounts the head as you requested.
