meopta range finder

hi guys i have got 2 7x50 meopta scopes both with built in range scales. love the scopes great value but have never understood the rangefinder scale built in , can anyone explain to me how it works cheers

Basically the horizontal lines correspond to a roe buck height from chest to back. If they touch him on the first set he is at 100, second set he is 200 and so on, of course this really only works if the deer that you are looking at is the same size as the one in the manual
