Good afternoon everyone,
I've finally signed up, though I have been on this site many times previously.
I should be at my syndicates boxing day shoot today but tested positive for Covid on Christmas day so have some unexpected free time on my hands, which is good in a way because here I am! My syndicate has pheasant shooting, which I currently partake, and stalking, though I have not been out stalking yet. I completed my DSC1 a couple of months ago but have yet to get out on a stalk. I'm going down this route because I have a love of the countryside, eating local produce and the drive to learn new skills.
I live in Aberdeenshire, not too far from my syndicate, but I also plan on doing some paid stalks to build up my experience. I have a slot on my FAC for a .270 and moderator for and also an HMR for pests, so hopefully that's me covered for the time being.
I've enjoyed my time reading this forum so now I've joined up I'll try to offer something back, though being a beginner I'm likely to need your help for the time being, however if I can return the favour somehow I will do my best.
