Hello, It was around that area, Weekend Wanderers, It was many years ago, Night Hawking is still going on around UK, The river meadows by the Thames here a full of dug holes and not back filled properly , Central news report in a Reading Park was the same, I use to know a group of club members who regular night hawked across the top of the Ridgeway when a new water pipe was laid between Swindon and Goring , One found a Saxon Sword , Any way shopping time
