I put a bit of peanut butter on a piece of scrap wood in front of a backstop suitable for a 22 air rifle.......works for rats, too, and plenty of time to draw a bead while they lick it off.

Squirrel feeder wanted….

Ive got a bit of 110mm pipe. Piece of wood blocking half of each end which stops the grain rolling out.. forces them to put their heads in to feed which opens up for a great vitals shot which seems less erratic than headshots.. 137 so far
