Middle of Lidl

Fortunately I can't drive currently so cannot get to a qLidl, lest of all the middle of it. My wallet is delighted that I don't know about all the stuff I never knew I needed.

Costco have some really good zip off cargo trousers currently too. Some of the best I've ever had.

Zip off to make shorts, you mean?
Been looking for a decent pair like that. Every zip off pair I've seen are just rubbish lightweight "walking" trousers.

Yes

These are relatively lightweight and could be used for hiking but I got a couple of pairs which I wore pretty continually last year and am still using but have bought some of this year's too.

Lots of pockets, material stretchy so can put on or remove the zip off bits without removing my shoes (usually Iturri/Aku but have done with sandals also). Pair I'm currently wearing are light tan. At least 9 pockets on this years ones, some pockets are subdivided and some have zips. Material stretches enough that I can fit a Yeti/other mug in them (once I've drunk the contents) alongside everything else. Fairly quiet. Probably not cutproof. Come with integral belt but can remove it and they have belt loops.

Two bum pockets, velcro
Two hip/hand pockets
Third hip pocket on right side with zip
Cargo thigh pockets on each leg, with velcro. Left leg has two velcro closure cargo subdivisions (inner and outer) plus a zip up slimline pocket. Right leg has velcro closure cargo pocket with outer second pocket and pen slot.
Plastic loop on left hip.

Not thorn proof or even particularly high quality but for about £20 they do me well and I'm pleased. Was delighted to see them back in stock this year.

If you want me to see if they have your size next time I'm there let me know and I can post them to you. Think there's tan, navy and black.

Genuine question, is it possible to get made in England trousers for normal people (ie not tailored) even if you wanted to?
Haven't got a clue but you can't miss a chance to have a laugh.
Perhaps @VSS will look into wool trousers or hemp for clothing products and nothing else 😂

I got some lightweight trousers from Costco recently, sort of a mid-green colour.... bargain at 12 quid.

(They are called "copper and oak" , also had them in blue and black).
