I was out last night, the air was motionless, needless to say, as soon as you stood still for 2 seconds, you were decended on by millions of Midges, I neve had me dog, thankfully I was fully covered, but it got me wondering, what would I do with the dog in this situation? He gets Frontline, but that won't help for these........Can you use an insect repellant designed for humans on dogs?

After being out stalking and seeing the dogs face especially around the eyes covered in midge, i got him a midge net the same as i wear he doesn't mind wearing it and for a few £'s saves him from puffy eyes where they were biting him.

No prob,s if you got a BMH you only lay the track on windy days . I have and old cover in my roe bag and just throw it over old buck if we are doing a bit of still stalking.(ambush type )
