Currently shoot with a mk60 grade 3
Very little experience with steel shot but was told it’s choked too tight to use steel.
Looking for recommendations and approx cost in having barrel bored out.

whats it choked at, shouldn't be to tight being a MK60 probably 1/2 and 3/4, as long as your not using high performance steel, standard steel shot and you will be fine, before you blow a load at teagues,
 
MK60 are ¼ & ¾ from factory (apart from the High Pheasant variant).
As above, if you're not using HP steel, your gun, unless quite old, will likely bear proof marks for normal steel. Probably picking a cartridge, then patterning it would be the way forward ? Doesn't steel pattern tighter?
