Moderator for .22lr?

Did the Brno mod2/CZ 452 come in different model options? As in, wood grade etc?

From the Mauser deluxe's I can see advertised, I don't think you will find a BRNO or CZ with as "pretty" woodwork. (Someone may prove me wrong) they are however brilliant work horses.

You like it, it may be a bit louder than a moderated rifle, but if it is for your appreciation as much as Usefulness, and shoots well, just bite the bullet and get it. Plenty of folk still using unmoderated deer calibre rifles to good effect

Yes that’s a good point

I think I will have a look at some of the Brno mod 2’s as recommend as well.
