@Rake Aboot the Weihrauch HW60J 22LR that lives in my gun safe shines with RWS HV HP ammo and as you say the trigger is "subline".

The photo below is a 5 shot group shot at 75 meters with the RWS ammo and it produced several groups similar to this on that occasion. View attachment 479176

The only time I use subsonic rounds is when I shoot possums around my home with my Unique x51 bis semi-auto with an Unique moderator. I don't use subsonic ammo in my Weihrauch, Rem 541S or Kimber 82C.

High velocity 22LR ammo can be very accurate if your rifle happens to like it. I have already posted what my Weihrauch can do but here are a couple more examples.

The first photo is five shots through my Remington 541S rifle using SK HV HP ammo at 51 meters. It was a perfect day for shooting with zero wind.

The second photo is four shots of SK HV HP ammo shot at 50 meters through my Kimber 82C. There was a light wind.
