So I'm a recent convert to the suspended gralloch, due to the ease and tidyness of it. I was using a climbing pulley but fancied one of those ratcheting systems I had seen.
Well just before Christmas I ordered a Monarch hoist kit. Unfortunately I've been out for the count since then and I haven't had a chance to test it.
Until today...
These Christmas trees weigh a tonne. We've 4 of the bloody things.
Usually my wife has to lift it until I (in the loft) can get a hand on it to pull it up. Not this year, as we've gone a bit mental and she's pregnant again (sleep is for wimps Rodders).
What a breeze. Highly recommend
