Mora leather sheath

Depends on what you are doing with them as a lot of my stalking was on the hill and involved a fair bit of crawling I lost a
few knives when crawling through heather , a good tight dangler sheath in leather stopped that.
Though I do appreciate the point of being able to.wash the plastic sheath.
Personally I don’t carry a knife on my belt. When I was a kid, another boy in the village I grew up in had a sheath knife on his belt, it shifted round and he bent down and somehow drove the knife into his leg. He very nearly died.

I carry my knife in its sheath in my pack. That way it cannot cause an accident, nor get lost.

Each to their own I carry mine on my belt but in a sheath tight enough that it won't come out on its own, I don't carry a pack if it doesn't fit in a pocket or on my belt ( other than rifle and bino's) it doesn't go to the hill.

Ive forgotten the last time I wore a sheath knife on my belt, even while stalking. I much prefer it in a game bag, roe sack or tiny camelbak rucksack I use with a yool sack in. Less chance of loosing it if it's behind a zip or buckles.
