I bought 6 of these and so far have had no luck. I have used a dob of Peanut butter, a bit of chocolate, a bit of the rat poison block, a bit of whole wheat chocolate biscuit, a bit of cheese and a bit of fish stick but none of them have been touched.
I found a cheap Russian air rifle in the attic and so far I have managed to shoot 5 that came out during the day time.

I use these traps a lot. I use peanuts for bait as the gnawing action is what springs the trap. You may find that very slightly bending the upright piece that the arm catches will make it set that much finer. Normally, they work very well.

I did try some peanuts stuck together with peanut butter but even that didn't work.
