Multi Catch (Rat) cage traps?

Spring traps ... Fenns, Springers or Solways they will all do the job.

as a refinement and benefit to all us " old boys " fit a white cable tie to the jaw next to the thumb loop and leave it sticking out on the ground as an indicator when the trap has sprung, saves you getting down on the ground and peering through the trap, just a glance as you walk past will tell you if it's caught.

FB you don't mention if you have cut a small opening so that you can flick the safety off last thing when alls set up, a stick the size of a pencil does the job.

ATB WB.
No, I didn't think of that! All I do is to set the trap, take the safety off and carefully place the "tunnel" over the top if the trap and run and then weigh it down with a brick or breeze block.
Now you mention it I will get that sorted tomorrow, many thanks.:tiphat:

I've just started using the plant pots with mk4's to catch squirrels, with a 2inch circle hole I think it is (biggest in my drill set). I had one squirrel early on, but it seemed to just have its head trapped in the hole and springed the trap. One very dead squirrel but since then I have only had rats, and a few of them that shows they work. I bait with peanuts to try to attract the squirrels, but the rats seem to like them as much.

I have one wooden tunnel trap I made, leaning on a tree that has fallen to 45 degrees. By far my most successful and I wonder if I would be better with wooden tunnels, however the flow pots are just too easy to make, I cannot be bothered to make the wooden ones.

Anyone experimented with different hole shapes and sizes on the flower pots please?
