Have you dealt with alot of rats in houses?Unless the rats have access to water within your house they must, and will, access outside
Absolutely, I have chickens and a thatched roof, used to keep pigs as well and Lantra qualifiedHave you dealt with alot of rats in houses?
Yours is a bigger bull i only have 16 years experiance and 10 years mynown company but would agree with youWell I hate to pull the "mine is bigger bull," but I worked as senior pest control officer for a local authority for 38 years and have had my own business for 28 years, in all that time I have never known rats to be attracted into a property solely by rodenticide use inside, many other ways, in order, cavity wall defects, drainage. after that, the 5% that's left, doors left open, cats bringing them in etc, if you don't want rats on the outside of your property, don't feed them. Simples. R
No thats wrong, resistance is genetic not built upPlenty of advice already but make sure you keep topping up the poison until it stays untouched. Most rat poisons is resistance building unless you kill them, next time it won’t work.
Thanks, might see you at a pest course at some point, got plenty to go to, bloody cpd pointsYours is a bigger bull i only have 16 years experiance and 10 years mynown company but would agree with you

Couldn't agree more, Most of this rubbish seems to be driven by crru, what many pesties seem to not get is who owns/control's crru, what started off as a very reasonable and easily supported idea has morphed into a self perpetuating way of killing off the small guys to the advantage of the large companies or at least that's how me and a good few others I've spoken to see it.Cpd points are fecking joke, you can do 12 from pest magazine, with questions about how many techs contego want by xmas or number of spider in aus!!!
I think lodi have a beer called rat catcher, possibly the best product on the stand
Im pretty much in favour of crru, ive massivly cut down on routine baiting, saving me a good amount.Couldn't agree more, Most of this rubbish seems to be driven by crru, what many pesties seem to not get is who owns/control's crru, what started off as a very reasonable and easily supported idea has morphed into a self perpetuating way of killing off the small guys to the advantage of the large companies or at least that's how me and a good few others I've spoken to see it.
The detail and name escape me, but I’ve seen bait boxes with tunnels which are weight activated - the heavier animal flips a flap or treadle and goes to the lower passage with poison, and the lighter animal passes though.Stupid question probably, anyway of poisoning rats but not the mice??
