Mozambique Visa

I am looking to apply for a visa to travel to Mozambique. I have read online that I need to travel to the consulate in London, apply in person, then wait in London for 1-4 working days, after which I can then collect it.

Does anyone have any tips on this from previous experience. It looks an absolute minefield from Trip Adviser.

Alternatively, there are several visa agencies that offer to do this for you. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Also, has anyone tried to postal Visa application?

If flying into Tete, you can (or could 3 years ago) get your visa on arrival for $50. They move with the speed of a striking slug, but it is a reasonably convenient way of getting one

Never had a problem with them and always got my visa in plenty time to travel

These people were really helpful.

They did warn me that it is taking up to 8 weeks for a visa to be issued at the moment though.
