I have an issue with my MSA ear defenders -
They switch off after about 4 seconds.
I've replaced the battery with new Duracell ultra etc, and still no luck.

Any insights or thoughts what to check?

My MSA Pro ear defenders take two AAA batteries. The inner battery contacts get compressed over time and eventually fail to provide a good connection.

What I did was make a small square patch of some type of conducting material to add to the end of the battery. Very fiddly and took many attempts to get to work. It has been working for me.

Just to double check did you replace one or two batteries

I've tried different batteries, and even had background noise/ music to help "keep them switch on active"
