Finally at the tail end of weeks of this chest/green #hit/coughing which very few people I have spoken to have not have! This group of 4 turned into 5 last night as I bailed out of a stand, quite hit and miss on my camera the wind was good but in the end I have always been one to leave a bit of time to move!
Now the wind was not so good also an open field to knock off the yards, a handy badger track made the stooped over stalk a bit easier also they had not long come out of an overgrown willow field (jungle!) so were head down feeding.
Trying to count my steps as I know roughly how wide the field was not easy but you have to stop at some point and take them on! The wind! when deer start to lift their head and sniff the air time left is seconds so with no gene pool decisions to be made the neck of (not seen him before) was where the cross hairs went.
As you would expect the others took off like they were at Romford Stadium
quick check and start the bleeding then back for the cart!
Bouncing the scales at 42kg a decent size.
We like to have a laugh in the Watts-App group with a few "daft" videos coming in from SA friends so I like to send them back
Lee @Norfolk Deer Search sent me his version of the what I was told last night was sung by an ex Army friend bouncing around in a 3 ton truck who knew the whole thing lol
