Muntjac in Northwest Kent?

I went for a walk at Chartwell yesterday and am sure I bumped a muntjac - didn't see it for more than half a sec but a small brown deer running off through the woods with a pointy white tail clearly held aloft. I've Never seen any round me (north of Sevenoaks). Anyone else seeing them around here?

@bottletopbill sorry to say but it was running in the opposite direction.

I live in Shoreham, surrounded by motorways. We have plenty of roe locally but no fallow at all, (even though they're plentiful a couple of miles away at the other side of the A21) and I've never seen any sign of muntjac.

Shoreham Village, used to live there a few years ago myself. Crown Road, next door to Keith

Painter & decorator? If it's the same Keith (skinner) he's super fit now, out training all the time with one of sky Dave's sons - putting me to shame!

We were trying to make the move out your way recently (well burwash actually so not super nearby) but Liz truss had other ideas.

I worked on the Shoreham airfield for Ricardo special vehicles and had that Spitfire full size mock up parked outside my window back in 1996. They had a .50 Browning in the safe to use to check the fit on the pintles for the SAS dine buggy Landies they were building

There is a dead muntjac doe on the London bound entry slip road on junction 4 of the M20 West malling. Didn't realize they were about there.

Today it appears that the muntjac has been moved, but probably just half a mile further on there is a fallow dead in the centre of the motorway by the concrete blocks, again didn't realise that we had fallow this close to home.
