Having visited several abbatoirs in Muslim countries I find Halal slaughter is mostly honoured in the breech not the observance. Beasts being killed in front of the others ( a big no no- haram as I am sure you know) is the norm in the middle east.
I look forward to your posts, but feel it odd you should think it necessary to put your religion as the first line of your post.

To the OP - Welcome to the site, hopefully you'll learn a few things on here and that you can enjoy stalking whilst inkeeping with your faith.

I found this page which outlines some guidence for Muslims when hunting. The jist of it (as I read it), an animal is Halal if it is hunted when it's wild and is able to flee. I.E. Shooting a farmed sheep in a field is not Halal, but shooting a wild deer is Halal. I'm no expert, but hope this helps. 🙂

Rather a strange Introduction, if I may say so. People joining rarely mention their religion. But we all started somewhere on our stalking/hunting career. Your having had depression will certainly not help you getting an FAC, especially if the diagnosis is registered with your GP.
If you are serious in your intentions I suggest you first of all look into sitting and taking your Level 1, and in the mean time book a couple of outings with a guide, or maybe take some rifle tuition with a guide.
I am fully booked this summer at the moment, and therefore cannot offer any outings, but if you look in the Stalking opportunities section of this site I am sure you will find an opening.

Agreed, a little strange a new member introducing himself as a Muslim! Maybe it is a troll but then again maybe on the other hand the "new member" could well be genuine and a Muslim and concerned about some of the "Anti Muslim" feeling that some people have and wanted to find out how he would be received on here as a member.
Who am I to judge? :tiphat:
 
Go to the USAs Double gun journal and you will find lots of openly bible bashing types who have no issues with stating their beliefs as if it is the only real one out there.
Me? I have no time for any of it, if that is a belief.

And that really annoys me.
I don't give a rat's arse what your religion, race, sexuality or the colour of your skin is, its unimportant to me. Just as long as you are honest, genuine and sincere, keep all the rest to yourself.
