My last Lurcher

My lovely lurcher Flint , died tonight at home .
Been great , out running about today had a snooze on the couch and was sitting in the kitchen hoping for part of a fish supper , had a massive seizure and was gone in a few seconds .

Was and am gutted. He was an amazing worker and would take anything he was asked to.
I’ll miss him terribly as I do all my dogs . Suddenly at home was a first for me and I’m a bit in shock tbh
My granddaughter is going to be distraught losing Flinty Girl ( her wind up for me )

Sorry to hear ..... folk can be assholes but our four legged friends are a constant
Unconditional love
It's simple..... treat them well and watch you get it back in spades

Just makes it all harder when they go .... but life is too short to not have that companionship ans wouldn't be worth living without it

Never say never to another ... you never know what's round a corner ..

I'm so sorry to read this. Only those who've been through it know the pain of losing a friend and a working companion. And for it to come out of the blue is a hell of a shock. I'm so sorry mate

I am so sorry for you loss sight dogs lurchers/whippets they are not just a dogs. when bringing them up they become almost human and grow with the family and because of this its even harder

Sorry for your loss pal. Never gets any easier. About 10 year ago I lost 4 dogs in 5 months. 2 young dogs while working and 2 old dogs. Nearly broke me but will always have at least 1 lurcher . Just something about them working or not that brings a smile. Sorry again pal
