My new boy pup

Ironically about a week before we suddenly lost our HWV Ruby to an inoperable tumour, we had reserved a boy HWV pup to add to our pack.

After the loss of Ruby we were unsure wether to continue to take him on or not.

Anyhow we did and we picked him up last Sunday. Got him from a chap on here. It’s been a trying few days but a week on he is shaping up,

Our other HWV Bonnie puts him in his place but loves to play with him in the garden.

As he was born on the 4th of July we have called him Teddy.

Good luck - busy times. Having imported our last five dogs at 4 months to 7 months, we've just kept a pup back from a litter. It's been a dozen years since we had one so young and they certainly keep you on your toes. Nice work though :)
 
Lovely pup, but where has this woke boy pup or girl.pip come from. Come on lad they are dogs and bitches. I hate all these stupid.woke expressions. Can you imagine bringing your boy cow, or boy horse into the show ring for bull or stallion classes.

Of course they are dogs and bitches but would you introduce your son as “and here is my eldest male child”……..maybe some people do dunno. But all my dogs / bitches are family members and therefore boys or girls. Also irrespective of what I call them they turn out to be great great workers.

My solicitor daughter would violently.object to any title other than daughter although she can be a nasty " bitch,".on occasions. My son's are just that and introduced as such eldest an Operations director and youngest ex para.and builder.
Used to have half a doz or more dogs, bitches and dogs, sorry no boys or girls, all workers otherwise gone. One now a right child loving, fox hating, deer chewing, bitch teckel.

It's all semantics - I am generally in the dog/bitch camp but quite honestly couldn't give two hoots if people want to be the dogs mum, dad and the dogs are boys and girls - as long as they look after them and bring them up well that's all that matters.
