My new build.... 😍

Finally collected my new build last week from Dom's Custom Rifles in Ireland. Absolutely delighted with it.... the build spec is as follows;
- PSE Compostes Mil Spec ETAC stock.
- Kelbly's Atlas Tactical Long action
- 24" Proof Research Carbon wrapped Sendero Profile barrel
- Timney Trigger
- Atlasworx's Bottom Metal
- MDT magazine
- Tier One 40mm Mounts
- IOR Recon Optic.

Calibre: 300 Winchester Magnum.

That's a beaut. How much did it set you back? I've a Tikka T3x that I'm contemplating getting a proof barrel and Pse or KRG stock for for next season.

It wasnt cheap, by any means, approx €6k... but I am delighted with it, it'll be used to take Stags, and long range shoots. The whole set up feels so well balanced.

In relation to Stocks, my advice is to just go and get a PSE, the lads are hunters themselves, and are masters at what they do. The ETAC helps so much with the recoil of the 300wm, the quality and finish are top class. Plus, the ETAC I got, even though its Mil Spec, is super light for any hill stalks.

Definitely give a PSE some serious consideration for your T3x.

Eesh, 6K is nothing to be sniffed at. I suppose if you're going for the long range f class (I think) stuff, you need to splash the cash. Yeah I heard the PSE stuff is fantastic.

The guys at PSE envy your rifle a little too... Very nice gear.
My new 300wm was out for it's first hunt this weekend , similar to yours however fitted with a bog standard remmy 300wm long range. My first 3 shot group after polishing the barrel was at 8.6mm. I love the 300wm.

I am waiting for a new build and it cant come quick enough. Should be ready before christmas.
26" heavy Palma Kreiger barrel, Borden Alpine reciever, Timney trigger, T12 Wildcat mod set on my now dismantled Bergara BMP chassis.
Im staying with 6.5 Creedmoor as it has proven to be an accurate and easy to reload cartridge. I decided to splash out on Reading micrometer bushing dies to replace my Lee set, not that there is anything wrong with Lee die sets but if it shaves a few thou of a group its money well spent.

The 300wm is an amazing round. So capable. The ETAC makes it so much easier to shoot. A fantastic piece of modern shooting tech.
