Hi folks,
I shot a roe doe this morning. I was miles from my truck and the .25-06 had made a mess of it so I thought I’d butcher it on site and just take away the good bits. On skinning it to cut the back legs off, I found several larvae under its skin.
Are they nasal bot fly larvae? I thought that was just a red deer thing? This is on hill ground that’s predominantly red deer. Do they jump to roe?
