Nasal bot fly on roe?

Hi folks,
I shot a roe doe this morning. I was miles from my truck and the .25-06 had made a mess of it so I thought I’d butcher it on site and just take away the good bits. On skinning it to cut the back legs off, I found several larvae under its skin.
Are they nasal bot fly larvae? I thought that was just a red deer thing? This is on hill ground that’s predominantly red deer. Do they jump to roe?

95% of the deer I’ve shot have gone into the game dealers so I might have shot loads with this I suppose. No signs of any issues on the outside. I’d have happily put it into the game dealers.

Grim find though.

Had warble on a Roe buck I shot last year which I discovered upon skinning, first time I'd seen them.

I just couldn't persuade myself to butcher and eat it.
This was the one I shot.

Why do I think that looks like a buck? Pedicures and a a tuft where his bits should be?
Maybe I am losing it

All the Bot Fly Larvae I have ever seen over the years with horses they have been almost red in colour, so I googled it, and there are varying colours, and the horse illustration's showing Bot fly larvae as Reddish colour..

Just a little story from today for the group…

I was out this morning and shot a red stag. Miles from the truck again, I set about my field butchery. I normally run my knife up the spine to skin the fillets out so that I can cut them out, then I’ll work back to the back legs.

This particular stag had the same Warble fly larvae along its spine so my first cut halved two or three before I realised they were there. They’re very liquid filled, high surface tension, so when you cut through them, they really pop!
I ended up with larvae juice all over my face. 🤢🤮🤢

On a brighter note, Gary at number three is cock-a-hoop with all the venison and is going to fit some brake pads to my truck for me for free! Every cloud and all that.
