If the guns been rfd transferred then just put it onto their books , they keep it in trade and your recipient rfd puts it on your cert

That's basically how RFDs in Scotland operate. I've never had to send my certificate if it's a Scottish RFD sending the firearm. The Home Office leant on English RFDs to do that, but sxotladba legal system and enforcement if the firearms acts are independent even though the Act in GB wide, and in Scotland exactly what you describe is effectively what occurs. Makes much more sense.

Don't forget the police firearms had a multi million £ computer system to link all the different licencing departments the length of Britain!
Does anyone know if they got it working, last I heard was that it never worked!!

Nope. It only links England and Welsh police. Scotland and NI have their own separate firearms licensing computer systems.
