Nearly 4!

After close to an hour a sleeping muntjac decided to stir from it's warm out of the wind spot then disappear into the neighbors field, at that point the cold East wind had worked its way in so I got down from the seat for brisk 300 yards walk to a field that I often look in but over the 11 years never shot anything in.
That was about to change as a pair were working the hedge line giving me a bit of time to get set up, got to be the doe first then ride my luck the buck hangs around, that he did so 2 in the bag, quick check then back to the truck but 1 was in the field I had left earlier but watching me then breaks for the no back stop hedge so I doubled back to watch him watching me! After the stand off he disappeared with what I hoped in the right direction, yes he did but I had to drive to collect the pair so it was bad timing by a couple of mins he was again looking back at me (lucky boy this time)
Bonus to my left was a smaller muntjac working it's way through cover so I swung around on the sticks waiting for his head to come up as I stopped him.
Deer time clock had stopped so 3 to clean and home to cook my dinner.

We’ve shot a LOT more Muntjac this winter than we have in previous years & don’t seem to me making much of a dent in them tbh! Still need to get a couple more fallow in the chiller before the end of the month though or I’ll be disappointed at not hitting my goal for them this season.

Yes there are enough, about time you got out as not seen the results of your trips...
Believe me I want to, puppies have put a damper on things while they were very young, now with just 1 more left to find a home I'm hoping to get out soon, but I did have a catch up with the farmer last week or so to check how things are going
