Neck Turning Tool

So, are some people who advocate using a bushing die, saying that the neck of a 6.5-284 case can be expanded to 7mm and then passed though a bushing die and be the right size without removing any metal?

yes it can be.all mine have had tight chambers so i need to neck turn through choice but if i was running a chamber that didn't require neck turning i would always skim the high spots on the understanding it gives better concentricity of a finished round.

I've loaded a few to try. They will chamber, but are tight. Not fired any yet. I think I'll have to skim some off the rest.
