Need some new gaiters ☹️

I bought the kuiu Yukon HD a couple of years ago , they have a Velcro only seal at the front, I was a bit sceptical about this as previous gaiters had zip and Velcro. To be fair they have been very impressive, I will wade through streams etc with only the occasional cold trickle.
If you wear high boots like the meindl drove extremes consider the wider fit.

Have Barbour gaiters on a reduced price for the normal and endurance models
Worth a look
Mine are being delivered in the morning 🙄 due to donk here leaving one on the spare wheel then driving off 🥺

My Macgaiters last about five seasons in heather but are very warm. Currently two seasons into a pair Fortis and the seem very robust

I do buy British if I can

These would be my choice for cold and snow but not for a wet moor.
I have just got a pair, and they are excellent: the "wool" is very heavily felted, so effectively loden, but with some sort of waterproofing, which makes it stiff and even more water-resistant.
I will test them against my Munros, but my first impressions are extremely positive.

I've had these for over 8 years and almost daily use:

Very well-made and durable.
