New Knife, Suggestions

Hey , am thinking of getting a new knife for stalking with and maybe another just to have as a rough one , any suggestions for either would be greatly appreciated

Mora Clipper, Orange handle, nice and sharp cost about £10, buy two and you have a spare, or a bit more cash for an EKA swing blade, I have one of these and I find it very good £70 ish...

Thanks , the EKA swing looks good for a stalking knife, but really need a folding knife for a rough one

Cold Steel Hunter, fantastic steel holds a great edge. Or Boker very good about half the price.

they used to be about 35 quid but i think they could be anything upto 60-65 depending on where you go, i think heinnie.com used to sell them, could be worth a look

I left my expensive knife somewhere in the bondu once, never found it. Bushknife Orange from Bushwear £4.99. Sharpens easy, gets blunt quickly (buy two & a small sharpner), hard to loose in the field and goes in the dishwasher along with the bright orange plastic sheath.

Get a opinel, you won,t go wrong with a number 9, for a fixed blade I have a ibberson mod issue the best knife I have owned.

I am another EKA swing blade fan. Excellent steel really holds an edge, with a grippy handle in orange it's hard to beat and I have tried a few.

I have one of these in orange and they are very good for the money http://www.heinnie.com/EKA-Swede-8/p-0-0-6031/ similar to the swingblade but minus the zipper. The steel is ok but nothing special its the same as a Mora and does not begin to compare to the edge retention you get with Fallkniven etc But for a working folder at a working mans price its a must.
