I am from Tennessee. I have spent most of my life hunting, fishing, hiking and working in the outdoors.

I mostly hunt the eastern United States for whitetail, turkey, ducks, and upland game.

I found the site while researching for a vacation to Scotland. I have interest in stalking during the trip and have already found a wealth of information reading through the forums.

Welcome, Tennessee is the only sate i have been to and Hunted near Lynville (whitetail) three years ago when there was 7 inches of snow in Nashville as we were trying to fly out.
Lots of good info on this site and good people too.

Grew up in Savannah, my farm/ deer and turkey land is in Cerro Gordo. I reside in Indiana for work but my soul is always in TN.

Thank you everyone for the kind welcome. Any advice for a trip to the highlands, both for stalking or just general good tips for visiting the area will be appreciated.

After reading here, I think I'm already looking forward to a second trip to chase muntjac and cwd next year.

I did a lot of turkey hunting attempts in Missouri north of Kansas City back in 1994 but never got one though.
