I have decided for a couple of my rifles to move back to add ons after having dedicated for a while as I am doing more day shooting with them. I currently have a very venerable ward 700 that is pretty battered and am thinking to treat myself to one of the new Pard 007 SP units. I especially like the clip on bayonet fitting so I can leave the fitting on my scopes set how I like it and just clip the Pard on. Also with the inbuilt IR it will mean I dont have to put on an extra torch for several of the rifles i.e. FAC air and .22LR if its for sub 100 yards.
Has anyone had any experience with the uprated 007 and how does it compare to the cheaper (but longer) 007 V?
