New rifle build...

So, I'm building another .300wm and I'm hoping to get advice / opinions on barrel length...

I have a 20" .308win, DCR action, trued to a Lothar Walter match grade fluted barrel, sitting in a Berserk stock with a jewel trigger.

The win mag will be used for hunting and also the 'odd day' at the range.
So far I have decided on the following:
1) PSE ETAC
2) jewel trigger
3) Kelblys Atlas Tactical LA.
4) Proof Research Carbon wrapped barrel.

I have had win mags in 26" and 24"...no complaints with them only for the weight.

So bearing in mind I cannot load my own ammo due to silly laws, what barrel length would ye recommend for the .300wm?

My gun dealer had suggested 22" or would a 22" be pointless in a .300wm.. ...

I’d go as long as you can realistically maybe 24 inch to make the most of it

May also be worth checking out C2 Precision, they’re on Facebook, who make carbon barrels in Cornwall. May work out cheaper possibly.
