Good evening ladies & gentlemen,

I’d like to take this opportunity to greet you all, been in the background for quite a while, reading & learning from a lot of very experienced people who quite evidently are willing to give up their wealth of acquired knowledge pro bono, thank you.
Interested mainly in 17HMR, 223 & 6.5CM especially reloading advice, load data, powder choices (minefield) and some clay shooting when I find the time

welcome . On Powder choice if you stick with vhit you cant really go wrong . rates of burn are easy to follow and compare and its been the consistently most available brand in the uk N150 for the creed in most ca bullets , n140 for heavy for calibre 223 droping down in steps with weight ( easy to follow)4

Good afternoon Bowland Blades,
Thanks for the welcome.

Yes, looked at N150 some excellent results and quite a lot of useable load data as a starting point. I’m also looking at RS powders, was a bit worried regarding throat erosion with RS60 but loads of good stuff relating to RS62, I’ll have to read up some more on this before I dive in too deep with the CM. Currently loading 224 69gr TMK’s for my RPR and acquired some 77gr TMK’s, these things are becoming almost impossible to source but I’ll make up 20 or 30 and run them through the chrono to see how they go, nice speaking with you and thanks for the advice.

Good afternoon and welcome from Central Scotland!

Also new to the group, it's been very interesting so far... Shame I didn't join earlier :)

Good evening Deer Walker,

Thank you and welcome, hope you get as much out of it as I have quietly sitting in the background learning from such an experienced cohort.
