Nielsen Sonic reloading data.

I'm interested in moving to non-toxic loads in 223, 6mm Rem and 243 so have collected some Nielsen 50gr 224 and 75 & 85gr 6mm bullets.

I found Nielsen load data online: but a) I don't have those powders, and b) there's no 85gr 6mm data published.

Have any of you developed useful loads for these in 223 Rem, 6mm Rem or 243W? Or is there anything published I can look at?

I’ve used the 7mm version these bullets only as far as working up loads. Ben Heath who was the U.K. agent was helpful in giving some starting loads.

I didn’t carry on with Nielsen as I believe Ben has stopped importing them & there’s no mainland U.K. agent (I’d like to be proved wrong).

Frankly I now prefer to stick with home grown products such as Yew Tree & Virtus or at least those from the main overseas companies with well established U.K. distributors. However, if you’ve secured a good supply of the Nielsen then you are well setup.

I have a couple of boxes of 224 LOS and Yew Tree TLR as well, so any info about loads people have developed for these would be welcome.

This Nielsen load data is a little useful: Reloading data - Nielsen Gun Parts, I'll need new powders though.

Just loaded my last 20 6mm Nosler BTLF 55gr into 243 cases...I'd give my eye-teeth for more of these, they are fiendishly accurate but seem to be unavailable in the UK at the moment.

Just shot my first roe buck using the Nielsen Jagt 75gr in my 243. Load was 41.5gr RL17 OAL 2.565", ladder test averaged 3083 fps.
Shot at 175m prone, entry quite large inside as hit a rib, 4 obvious but neat exit holes, looks like one fragment went through heart, buck kicked out and dropped like a stone. Really pleased with the load and the terminal performance.

I've got a couple of boxes of these in each of 75gr and 85gr. Looking forward to using them but not entirely sure where I'll get more. Let me know if there are any unwanted out there, happy to have part boxes. Also happy get 85gr load data, the Nielsen site I have only shows 75gr.
