night vision scope recommendations

so, after going out last night for the first time on the rabbits, shot at 15 and killed 1, ranges were 40-80 yards, normally on a good day weather wise they would of all bitten the dust,
so went back out today to test it at distance and re check zero, zero seemed to of dropped an inch since i zeroed it last week, got it back to bang on at 50y, then shot at 25y using the BC and it was bullet on bullet, 75y was 1 1/2" low so BC didnt really do its job there, and 100y (which i realise is pushing it a bit on a 22lr) but with BC on it was still 1 1/2"-3" low, there was a little biy of wind about but i tried to shoot between breezes, so im thinking have i entered my calculations correct for the bullets and other things,
i noticed Bruce you did yours on a 22lr using CCI subs the same as me so i was wondering if you would be so kind to look at my charts and see if there about the same as yours.

also i read somewhere the battery life was hours, mine were lasting about 40 mins but it was on constantly as i was also using it as a spotter, NV on plus full brightness,IMG_7694.webpIMG_7695.webpIMG_7696.webpIMG_7698.webpIMG_7699.webp

Change the drag function to G1, the ballistic coefficient to 0.120 and the muzzle velocity to 1070 fps and try again
Running the LRF and the IR at full power will result in a short battery run time
Use the sleep function (short press of the power button) and IR Auto to save power
Even when the battery indicator is showing an empty red box, there is still substantial power left in the battery
Ignore the battery indicator and keep the scope running until it switches itself off or comes up with a message saying there's not enough power to run the LRF and/or the IR
You won't damage it

Cheers

Bruce

Id be very interested in any footage or thoughts on foxing when you get cracking, its all bloody rats at the minute!
First night out impressions

Easy to zero, straight forward to use, the moon was really bright so don't think it was a fair test of capability however using built in IR I could happily see to 170m 👍

My only criticism is where I have zeroed it the reticle is quite high on screen and offset to the left

that happened on my old pard, hated that, i must of been lucky as my zulus only took minimal adjustment to zero,

from memory mine were less than half them, you might need a MOA rail to lift the scope and less adjustment, im sure someone with far better knowledge will be along shortly to offer correct advise,
(for god sake please dont take mine  ) burce is your man, i secretly think he owns arken zulus and he makes them in his shed😁

Hi all,
im after a night vision scope to go on my 22lr for night time rabbits,
a couple of years ago i had the pard nv007 but really didnt like it due to the head position, got rid of it and never bothered as not many rabbits about anyway,
but now i have a couple more farms i shoot where there are plenty of rabbits, shooting ot to 25-100 yards, wont be using the rifle for anything else so it could be a dedicated bunny basher,
ideally a scope rather than a add on, dont want to spend **** loads so say upto £750 tops, new or second hand, please feel free to share any thoughts,
thanks.

Did you get sorted? I am going to be selling my Digex C50(WiFi model).
Also, Sightmark Wraith 4K.
Both genuinely immaculate as used a dozen times max. Reason for sale - not suited to my circumstances and selling up my kit.

just a quick note about watching videos or downloading them from your zulus, make sure your phone/ipad is as near to the scope as possible, i downloaded some videos to my phone the other day in quick time, today i tried and it was so slow it would of taken about an hour to do a 30 second video, while trying to work out why i realised one time the rifle was on my lap after Turning on the WIFI, today it was but the radiator drying out, 5 yards away, mover my phone a few inch from the scope and it downloaded in seconds 😁
