Anyone been using the 'No tick' Wash in repellent this year? Whats everyones thoughts?

Yeah have tried it. Wouldn’t say it last as long as the company thinks recon I can get about a month out of trousers before needing to reapply but then that’s with daily wear.

I have used the permethrin spray and it's very effective. A mate got it in the USA, but I'm out of it now and wouldn't know where to get it.

I’ve just come back from a week long trip to South Africa where the farm we were shooting on was infested with ticks. Both dogs and PH’s were plastered with the hateful little blighters.

I’d sprayed my boots and clothing with a good dousing of Sawyers permethrin prior to going and didn’t get bitten once.

That sounds awesome apart from the ticks! Were the PHs using it?

That doesn't sound great.... think i'll avoid that
I use it and so do several buddies, no issue at all. Always best to just treat the top layer of clothes anyway to avoid skin contact but I use a treated shirt and trousers with no issues.

Some people will react unfortunately but most don’t, rovince clothing is treated with permethrin and plenty of people wear that with no issues.
