And the V2 is a step up.Zulu mk1 ....
Inbuilt vcsel ir ...
Ergonomics....check!
Lightweight .....check!
Lrf & calc .........check!
Just bloody works
And the V2 is a step up.
All the reports I've seen suggest not worth replacing a mk1 but if buying from scratch then go mk2. I went mk1 from scratch though because im tighter than a nuns box!Is it though? i hear so many conflicting opinions, some say it is and others say it’s not worth changing if you have the V1.
I only use mine on rimfires so performance wise the V1 is up to the job and so far i’ve resisted the V2.
I sent mine back , it had serious issues with crashing , the LFR wouldn't range after a couple of hrs . Had to keep re-entering all my ballistic data again ( 3 times in total )How did you get on with it, what’s your thoughts ? Did you use it at Deer legal dusk dawn hours ?

+1 for this - got a 24hr loan of a V2 the other night and was seriously impressed with it. Ironed out all the niggles with the V1, and the picture quality was - to my eye - loads better. The in built IR was also very good. All the reports I've seen suggest not worth replacing a mk1 but if buying from scratch then go mk2. Do it - you will be rather pleased…Bought a 2nd hand mk1 zulus few weeks back, still haven't set up the balistics yetjust finding the time, must try harder
ThanksI sent mine back , it had serious issues with crashing , the LFR wouldn't range after a couple of hrs . Had to keep re-entering all my ballistic data again ( 3 times in total )
The image at night was blurry and slightly out of focus . Also requires so much IR
there was marks on the inside of the objective .
I personally feel Pard have seriously over hyped there product .
I also know of two other owners that have not had the best experiences either .
As said mine went back and full refund was issued .
It a shame as i really did want it to be all that it was ment to be.
whats the differences between V1 & V2 ?And the V2 is a step up.
I am not a techy but in my opinion it is better on all counts you mention.whats the differences between V1 & V2 ?
is it all ergonomics or any advance on performance / sensors etc ?
Same sensor, but better/brighter screen, better 21700 battery, more eye relief, throw lever/zoom ring instead of tiny scroll wheel, internal memory, improved IR illuminator.whats the differences between V1 & V2 ?
is it all ergonomics or any advance on performance / sensors etc ?
Do it - you will be rather pleased…

I haven't tried it but they screws that remove the scope from the mount aren't always accessible depending on where the mount is on the rail. Can anyone here comment on the Zulus return to zero? once removed and replaced etc
The mount itself looks like this would work well
You would leave the scope on the mount and just remove it from the rail I would assume.I haven't tried it but they screws that remove the scope from the mount aren't always accessible depending on where the mount is on the rail.
The mount itself is just picatinny. In my experience you have to take the mount off the rail before you can take the scope off the mount.
