NOCPIX VISTA H35R

Anyone using the nocpix vista h35r yet ?
I'm looking for a new spotter with lrf and I am considering one of these.
Others I'm looking at are the hik condor cq35l. The pixfra Arc A650lrf and the Atn blazehunter 635lrf.
Has anyone compared any of these units in the field .

Yes me.
My first spotter and have not learnt all the buttons yet.
I went for the Vista despite the very expensive batteries when they fade, hopefully not for several years yet.
I was put Hiks by their dodgy battery life and firmware, also crappy m15 trail cams.
My choice was partly swayed by timely answering of questions asked on the forums, the ATN blazehunter was at top of list but took to long to give over info.
Ian was very forthcoming on the forum and very quick mailing my devise.

Key points of the Vista series is the large 2560px display and inline LRF.

Condor is very popular but watch this space over the next 1-2 weeks... your decision could be made by it...

The Pixfra Arc Pro and Blazehunter are identical in body, design and sensor as Pixfra manufacture this unit and supply OEM.

I'm heading over to the shooting show so hopefully il get a look at some units there.
I know its not the place to be testing a thermal but at least il get to handle them to see what feels comfortable for me etc.
My mate has a condor ch35l . He is happy enough with it but says the rangefinder stops working once the battery starts to lose a bit of power.
Do all units suffer from this or is it just a condor problem ?

Like I say, new stuff is imminent... You will probably see this at the shooting show.. Hang fire for a couple of weeks.

They do make this for us, but with a few tweaks we've requested.

Compared to the Pixfra Arc Pro, we can offer some substantial pricing discounts for SD members, which would make it hard to justify buying Arc Pro:

not really in-line LRF as it just obscures the lower part of the lens, but a clever way to pitch it.

I guess we could pitch our Blazehunter as in-line LRF since it's in-line with the body and housing.

Nice! Was expecting to pull the trigger on buying the NocPix after getting hands on at the shooting show as I love the specs and case shape on paper. Interesting to now see what HiKMicro are about to release and see if it changes my mind. Although, the spec would need to be outstanding as I really like the shape of the NocPix. Unless of course Hik change that too
Falcon 2 and condor 2 being launched on 28 Jan according to hik website

Its as close to the sensor optical centre as possible. The benefits are no obtrusions for the LRF, although on other designs like the Pixfra Arc Pro LRF and Condor models the LRF is positioned so it does not obstruct from the main body. So this design is good, as it prevents any aperture reduction. although other manufacturers have started using faster lens in some of these models even though it's not noticable..
