None eject

Whilst zeroing my Tikka 595 222 yesterday I found it's not ejecting the cases.
It's the same home loads I've used for a couple of years.
Has anyone had this problem or could tell me what the problem may be.
Any help would be appreciated.

Excessively worn or damaged extractor on your bolt likely…? Spring hopefully… 2 min job for a gunsmith. Could also be really caked in carbon etc could prevent it moving correctly

How much of a clean?
Did you stop it down and check the spring , does it move freely and return with force?

Is the rifles chamber neglected? Gotten rusty and the brass is grabbing onto it?
Is there sign of scratching on the extracted brass?

Rifle chamber very clean, no sign of wear or scratches on extracted brass.

I haven't stripped down the bolt.
Always squirt oil in into it and wipe after every outing. Spring is strong and the part that grips case seems to function ok.
I've never stripped a bolt down 🫩

As per Smelly’s wise words - “Is the rifles chamber neglected?”.
A good scrub may well solve the issue - only last week my little 22 did exactly the same - two minutes with solvent and a stiff brush sorted it though compared to the sainted triple deuce the subsonic 22 is a filthy little round.

Sorry - writing this as your post above appeared - soooo old brass? multi reloads? If so worn rims on cases can cause this problem especially with this chambering as it can take a lot of reloads.

Thanks again for the replies

Rifle chamber is very clean, always cleaned after every outing.
The brass moves very freely in and out of the chamber.

How does the extractor claw feel? If you pull it with your finger, is it firm and springs back, or sloppy? It needs to have a quite a firmness and should spring back quite affirmatively

Not hot at all and used same load for three years plus.

Brass always checked before reloading.
Never had any issues.

If you are always squirting oil into the bolt, I'd say strip it down and clean it properly. You shouldn't need to oil a rifle bolt excessively, it's doing very little moving, so wear is minimal.

I see where your coming from.
I'm always aware of trying to wipe most oil off.
It may well benefit from being stripped down. Having never stripped one before I wouldn't know how.
Is it a gunsmiths job or something I could do?.
