Anyone been today? Worth it? I’m thinking of heading up tomorrow (2hr drive) and I’ve see a few negative comments elsewhere..

I went on the way home from a wedding in York. Glad I didn’t make a trip over especially, had visited every stand in about half an hour

Definitely a bit 'thin on the ground'.

There's a lot of competition now: stalking show and the game fair to name two examples.

I won't be making the effort next year.

I thought this would happen , let alone the price of fuel . Shows should be filled with one man bands not corporate just to make them interesting , if you come away not having a few chats with others who you have never met or talked on line - its just a big retail pop up shop! Like who wants that now everyone is on-line eh ?
I love the shows , i think it holds us together but we really should to go back to small traders and space to breath

As expected but if we want a show up north we must support - it's the same as shopping online then moaning all local shops closed down. Yes it was sparse but I still met friends, bought a couple of odds and ends and got a very quick variation from NY firearms so a successful visit and worth the 90 minute trip with a car full of like minded idiots, we will return!!
