No spin, as i said, situations change , they are reassessed and consequently so must BASC's position where needs be. As far as I know, members have not been contacting us saying we should not take our current position on clause 81 or the other points we have made a position on within the draft Bill

Being at the forefront of ensuring the licencing system is fair and consistent is a very important issue, I am sure we can all agree, never the less if members want to tell us what else they think we should be targeting also, (and maybe we are but have not got the message over well) them please speak up

Maybe that just says more about me, perhaps I should take a more active role in organisations I'm not a member of and have no interest in being a member of just to help out those less fortunate who can't see the errors in their organisation?

I have an aversion to all forms of BS wherever they occur - every person is entitled to their opinion - are you interested in shootings position within or without the EU?
I would also criticise the WI if it took a stance against shooting. I have criticised the kennel club for its attitude to breeds, since I prefer healthy dogs. Same goes for the RSPCA with its support for L.A.C.S. objectives. Some do - some dont care. What you do is up to you - I wouldnt be so brazenly stupid to criticise your objectives, about which I knew nothing, whatever you decided.

Personally I would not be disappointed if Malc or John close the thread because I can't see it going anywhere other than downhill.
