Not Looking Like 21 For Big Unlock

No, I have a problem with so-called experts who divert from the path of evidence based advice in favour of conjecture based on what they don't know!
So none of the government’s experts know anything and you are the font of all knowledge on pandemics. I look forward to you attending the next SAGE meeting because that move can only be a matter of time away

Based on the f- ups so far ,do we really take the word of so called experts in the field or do we just all do our best to avoid catching it whether that be through vaccines ,distancing or becoming a hermit .
Doubtless ,there has been some monumental f- ups that has exasperated the situation ,not helped and yet some won’t have a word said against the “firm “.
We all went into this blind but surely borders should have been no 1 priority .As a country ,we could of withstood border closure for as long as the first lockdown .We’d now be COVID free and controlling our borders unstead of forever on the back foot defending them .
The variant issue seems almost welcome by Gov enabling them to string this out even further ,all the while strategising new requirements that contravene human rights .
If there is another lockdown proper ,i for one will be carrying on as normal and to hell with authority as I’m fed up to the back teeth with it .
Staff on tills in supermarkets no longer wearing masks yet it’s a requirement for the public .Allowing football fans to congregate in masses abroad but not here .The list goes on - those with a bit of savvy saw the gradual swing from compliance to rebellion with apparently no change until someone comes up with a variant .
Indian variant that we can no longer refer to as such lol .You couldn’t write the comedy of what we’ve endured yet some are so taken in by it as to be an embarrassment .
Im no conspiracy theorist and undoubtedly there’s a disease threat but I’m not buying into is all the shite that attached to it .
Its here to stay by the looks so let’s get on with life not oppress it ,learn by it not invent more misery for retail .

Ahh, well. Since you live on the Isle of Wight (nice place, and, dare I say it, very white), you might still be living in the 1950s. Spent many happy evenings moored up in Newtown Creek, and partying at the Royal Yacht Squadron. Meanwhile the World has moved on. For better, or worse.

Do the ferries now require at least a lateral flow test before embarkation ? If not why not ?
You got in the Royal Yacht Squadron? What as? A waiter ?

Boris is getting flak for not being cautious enough about how serious Covid-19 was last year. Now, perhaps, he will get flak for being too cautious this year.

He was certainly cautious about putting India on the red list !

It is illuminating (to my thinking at least) that the assembled Govt. experts demand such stringent and controlled ‘evidence’ of an already approved and safe, albeit repurposed medicine as to render it ‘beyond the pale’ in spite of its widespread and highly efficacious use in now some 10% of the World’s (principally poorer) countries, and yet are sufficiently ‘unconcerned’ as to permit essentially non-proven and thus experimental emergency treatments, in spite of clear evidence as to their lack of proven adequate safety, and the emerging misgivings/grave concerns of other academics with relevant credentials, and indeed evidence demonstrating alarming traits and concerns. This would appear to contravene the spirit and letter of the International Agreement to which our country is a signatory, which stipulates that where suitable existing medicines are available for the treatment of an illness that these are prioritised for use before any novel or experimental therapeutic is granted licence. Since when was such wilful setting aside of such a principled approach felt to be in the best interests of humanity, not least by the ‘guinea pigs’ of the piece, who are largely kept ’out of the loop’ where such matters of ethics, precedent and safety are concerned in those countries where this approach has been advocated, and by whom?

As ever, ‘Cui buono?’ 🤔

🤣A covidiot is someone who doesn’t take COVID-19 and the risks of the virus seriously, despite what government and health officials say.

Matt Hancock 🤣🤣🤣

Perhaps a feel of a bit of totty's arse keeps covid away.
Must try it.🤪
